Progress report....

Well, I'm up to the point where my blocks are all sewn together, and the top and bottom first pieced borders are on. I would have had more than that done, except, after I made one of the side borders, I discovered that I had turned the pinwheel triangles the wrong way, so there was some ripping going on. (sigh). I've also noticed that one of the pinwheel triangles in the quilt itself is turned the wrong way. But, I have a spare unit, I'm not sure why, that I think I can applique over it. I'm hoping, in between other projects, to get this finished this week.

I posted about this on my blog but wanted to add an official copy here too.

CORRECTION

I'm sorry to report that we have a correction with the last pieced border for the quilt.  Of course I'm trying to get mine completed for design wall Monday and that will not happen now.  I went to Martingale's website and found the correction AFTER my border wouldn't fit.  I need to make something to fill the corners so I'll put that off until tomorrow.  The link to the correction is below.

Center Done

I have my center completed. I need to cut for the borders and will plan that for over the weekend.  I'm doing a very exaggerated happy dance!

P.S.  It's only done because I'm home from work this week.  I have a very bad cold or walking pneumonia; my doctor is still not sure as we thought it was severe sinus problems a few weeks ago.

Tea's Progress

Ugh!  Blogger keeps turning my photos.  I blogged about my problems with this on my Design Wall Monday post.  I have 1/2 of the quilt sewn together.

Finally making some progress...

There is not a lot of posting going on here, so you must be as busy as I have been with work, family, a raging sinus infection and other projects.  I have finally come back to the nine patch pineapple.  I put all of my units together at my workstation so that I could start work.  In the beginning, I was a little worried about how my units were coming out...quite a few were a little wonky, but I perservered.  Actually, the blocks look pretty good.  So they are my priority for this week.  I can hardly wait to see them up on the design wall.  How are you guys doing?
