Progress on Unit 1 -- Take Two

Thanks to the advice from Cathy I took the old blocks apart and re-arranged them so that I could sew a scant 1/4 inch seam.  I also pressed open the seams.  It is a chore, but worth the finished product.  The blocks are looking much better.  I will try to catch up by the weekend.

Robin, great job making the corrections. I love the Fassett fabrics. I'm still piecing tri-rec triangles. Have about 40 more to go. I don't get much sewing done during the week due to dance classes. So, I'll try to catch up this weekend too.

Those look delicious! I love the range in colours. It will be fun to see these quilts finished, and to see how one pattern can look so different, depending on the fabrics. I'm the opposite to you both, it seems. I work mostly weekends, so I get most of my sewing done during the week. I'm hoping to get lots more done today, since I'l be working friday, saturday and sunday

Ok, no one noticed, but I stitched one of the blocks wrong. Can you figure out which one? LOL

Yep, Robin, I see one of the middle units turned. That goes to show how easy it is for the eye to accept these units. I try to remember to watch out for that when I sew.
